The Common Room: Planned Parenthood and NARAL in the news

Planned Parenthood and NARAL in the news
Two days ago then state attorney general Phil Kline filed 107 charges against Planned Parenthood in Kansas, including 23 felonies. In June, 2007, the new pro-abortion Attorney General, Paul Morrison, issued a letter "clearing" Planned Parenthood of any wrong-doing. Thisletter disturbed Judge Richard Anderson, who was the steward of theevidence and the guess who had been involved in overseeing Kline`sinvestigations.

Six months later, Morrison was constrained to submit in disgrace amid ascandal involving his attempts to carry his illicit lover in the DA`soffice to obstruct Kline`s abortion investigations. Finally, in October, 2007, Kline filed the charges but the newAttorney General, Steven Six, who was ordained by pro-abortion ex-Gov.Kathleen Sebelius placed a gag order on Judge Anderson and the evidenceagainst Planned Parenthood. Anderson was told not to follow with theDistrict Attorney`s subpoenas. Two judges have determined that the files show "probable cause" thatthe abortion business violated state abortion laws and falsified medicalrecords. Kline legally received the records during his investigation ofPlanned Parenthood and transferred them to his new situation when hebecame the county attorney. The records showed, according to Anderson, that the age of the babiesinvolved in the abortions had been altered to cover the fact thatPlanned Parenthood was engaging in illegal late-term abortions. Klinehas also said Planned Parenthood engaged in a felony by making copies ofstate health department abortion reports that it failed to hold on fileas required by law. Kelli Conlin was the chairman of NARAL New York, and I think we could say she was pro-woman, providing that woman is Kelli Conlin. She: resigned last month later a forensics audit the pro-abortion group conducted uncovered financial problems dating back to 2008, or still earlier, according to a YNN report. She had held the office for two decades and YNN indicates a source close to the site says she was fired. The audit found over 20,000 in meals for Kelli and her friends as well as 100,000 for a car service to make her children to and from their private school, among other things.
